broken spark plug?

can anyone help while changing the spark plugs in my escort the one broke in two leaving one part stuck in the engine anyone got any idea's of how to remove it

They make a plug removal kit that comes with the easy out and tap for redoing the threads in the head
it happens all the time
Can pick one up at most local auto parts stores ....

if the head of the nut is missing, and there a hole there, then the only way possible is to put heat on the part thats left in head, use a easyout to remove the base of the plug, its a common prob on the ford ka,good luck...

You should be able to get the plug spanner on the part thats still in the engine, nut shape
