where do you put a 2 amp fuse into a Ferroli F30 boiler?

The central heating has broken down twice with my 4 year old boiler. The hot water's carried on working. Both times the repair man replaced my timer - one replaced a 2 amp fuse as well as the timer. What's the tie in with the ch and the timer? And where did this fuse go? Help is needed so that I can do it myself next time!

The fuse holder is fitted directly on to the pcb (printed circuit board). make sure the power is off at wall when you uncoer the pcb. often there is some reason for fuse to go so you need to find out the cause before replacing the fuse. The timer controles the heating side if timer stops boiler will not fire for heating but the boiler will still fire up when you open a hot water tap. Hot water is not controled by timer. Always use a corgi engineer for such jobs. Good luck
