REPLACE POWER CORD?

I need to replace the power cord on a Toastmaster electric kettle model 438594-1 (Cdn) with an auto shut-off switch at the rear of the kettle. I neglected to notice which mounting screw the 3rd wire with the eyelet was connected to. I don't want to damage the switch & I can't find a wiring diagram for the kettle. Please advise. Cheers,

Which country are you in? Not all countries have the same wiring colours (colors) - if you are unable to recognise which conductor is the Earth wire and where it should go perhaps you should ask a certified person to make the repair. Damaging the switch should be the least of your concerns

My guess is that the wire with the eyelet is the Earth wire and may well be Green or Green and Yellow but this is playing fast and loose with your life. TAKE CARE and TAKE ADVICE
