electric windows in my ford escort ghia 1994 jammed half way and don't move, fuses + cables ok, maybe is the relay switch BUT I don't know which one is ? Or how do I fix it ?

Rob thanks for help but it's the relay switch window operating that I found is under the hand brake between the 2 front seats

Phone your local library and ask if have vehicle workshop manuals for loan. Ours in London does, or at least did.

Remove the dooor panel screws in the arm rest [may be covered by matching material plastic caps]. screws under door then gently prise the panel away from the push/pull securing clips. Pull it clear enough to get at the window switch wire harness joining plug and part this plug. You may have to get a small screw driver under the block lock strip to release it.
Now it's over to you.
Check the motor fixing points are secure.
Check the cam arm has not jammed up.
Check whether the cam arm slides are in the slide channel on the bottom of the window. If not then replace them.
Check the window is in both left and right channels.
Test before replacement of the panel.
