how can i fix a demagnitized wrist watch?

my watch was next to my credt card and i think the strip demagnitized it. can i fix it myself somehow?? it is a elgin quartx watch. other info is ela72b, 017, 5y30,battery 37.9, japan movement, stainless steel back

The "strip" on your credit card is not capable of doing anything other than being read. It can't magetize or de-magnetize.

Stainless steel is non magnetic and watches with moving parts really like to be demagnetized. My guess is that you need a new battery. In Uk Maplin wil sell you one for under £3.
