My frig. just stopped working. I unloaded everything and turned off the frig. by the stat. the next day I started the frig. and felt the compressor which was cold. I heard the overload clicking in and out. Do you think I have a bad compressor or could it be just the overload that is bad? Thank You

sounds more like a siezed compressor.syptoms would be as follows .switch on get a humming and then a loud click and then all is quiet until it retries.expensive repair
