How can I fix my lexmark 5470 printer?

The paper feed does not work. It will grip the paper, the printer starts but the paper will not feed further into the machine, so I get the paper jam message, I have tried using one piece, taking new paper from the packet, nothing seems to work

have same problem with two of these printers, called lexmark and they went through a maintainance procedure over then phone which resets the printer and it worked on one of them, the other they replaced within 24 hrs as they come with 2 yr warranty
