How do I stop my selfwinding watch from stopping overnight?

My Omega watch tends to stop overnight even though I have moved it about in an attempt to wind it up.
How do I eliminate the problem

I too have an Omega Seamaster that is automatic.

I found that once I had a service on the watch the wind would last much longer as the oil thickens over time, thus making the mechanism less affective!

Try a service.....

you dont state whether the winder button is a screwed down type or not . If it does not screw down give it about fifteen turns clockwise.
