warranty?

I have a warranty on my stove for 10 years, I have had it for 3 years and it is falling apart, I bought it through a used appliance store, but the stove was new, does anyone know who I would contact for that????

In UK the vendor sells the goods and any manufacturer's warranty together - as one package. The legal contract is between the person who buys the item and the person who sells it and except for safety issues you have no claim against the manufacturer.

The stove may have passed through several hands - Manufacturer - Original Vendor - First owner - Used appliance store - You. Do you have any paperwork showing the extended warranty of 10 years? Does the small print say warranty can be transferred to subsequent owners? Does it say how to exercise any claim?

If you have any claim at all it is with the store that sold it to you. Can you prove that you bought it from them?
