i have a je 480 mini disk player which shows a c13 error code does anybody know what it means ? and how do i fix it ?

I was ion touch with the Sony tech dept. If you get a C13 error it's because of dust on the lense. I didn't have any compressed air in a can so I used a soccer ball hand pump and pumped a ton of air just inside the door of the unit. 2 seconds later it worked fine. No cleaner needed.
