nintendo ds lite wont play games?

my nintendo ds lite wont read the normal d s games any more but will read a ds game that we bought cheap off ebay not sure if its a copy , it will also read the game boy games , everything else is fine , can any one help !

Try puting the game in while the ds is off & leave it for a WHILE if not then I don't know. :) soz
