As above, it's not filling, nor draining (all outlets, filters etc, cleaned). The check water light appears after a minute, the motor runs constantly even when the door is opened, only stopping when we turn the machine off. Can't see or feel anything blocking further down - have unscrewed a couple of bits (no idea of names of parts).

The base is probably filled with water which has activated the safety float switch. This causes the drain pump to operate continuously.

Try tipping the machine backwards 45 degrees and see if any water appears - have a towel ready!

If there is water coming out you will need to find the reason why it got there.
