emachine blows fuses?

emachine was runing fine left on but with screen off went to check and fuse had blown 5amp will not work now just blows fuses

Hi Steve, most likely a blown motherboard, these are a problem board and I supply "upmarket" replacments for these. The problem is the capacitors around the processor socket, contact me on compdoctor2005@btinternet.com

Sounds like your PSU is broken; these are quite easy to replace and cost about £25 from any popular on line store (or even PC World).

It could of course be that your computer doesn't have a powerful enough PSU for what it needs, look at getting a 400 watt PSU at the minimum.
