My MP3 player will not change from radio to music and I am not able to record when I press the menu button to listen to a book I recorded. How do I get the menu to change from radio when I press the menu botton?

My Problem Is That The Ear Piece Does Not Seem To Work. I Went Thru The Sansa Mp3 Player, And It Looks Good. Soo When I Trun It On, And Put The Headphones In It Either Shuts Down, Or Only Has One Headphone Working. Now I Know Your Thinking That The Headphone Is The Problem, But Its Not.. I Got A New Headphones, But It Does The Same Thing. Soo Because Give Me Some Help With Thiss. Thanks.
