Condensate trap leaking on Heatline Vizo boiler?

The condensate trap has a steady drip from the side when the hot water is running. The plumber who fitted it thinks there is an air lock in the drain pipe, but I've taken the pipe off and blown it through (as he suggested). I've also taken the bottom off the trap, cleaned it, emptied it and re-filled it with 50cc of water (as per manufacturers instructions). Its still leaking. Any suggestions?

I'm no expert but I have one of these as well and had it to bits a couple of times already even tho' it's just over a year old - when you say 'drip from the side' do you mean where the black rubber pipe connects from the heat exchanger above or the short plastic side section with the blue cap on the end and the sensor wires front and back?

Thanks but it seems like the trap is over-flowing. I've taken the trap out, examined and cleaned it. The drip is less serious now but still there.

I had a similar problem with a heatline vizo boiler and it turned out to be a hair line crack in the trap.

Hope this helps you
