I've turned the dial to a setting, i.e. delicates at 40 and the dial on the far right does some automatic rotation, then the 1400 spin is highlighted and i suppose i'm supposed to select a wash type so i highlight super wash but nothing happens, i've pressed start and waited a while but nothing happens, the most i've got the machine to do so far is just turn slowly but nothing else.

Help me pleeeeeasse!!!

I only use 2 settings on my machine and they are A60 hot cycle and A40 cool cycle both on short cycle and press spin speed 1400. Press start and leave it. Both cycles take around an hour. Once you have set your spin speed and cycle length you should not need to touch these again only whether you want a cool or hot wash.
I still have the instruction booklet if you would like a copy let me know and I can forward a copy on to you.
