2003 ford focus 2.0 steering won't unlock so i can start car help. ?

My car won't unlock the steering so I can start car. Where can I get a diagram online free to tell me where in steering column the air bag wiring is so it doesn't accidently get set off?

have you tried violently shaking the steering wheel from left to right while trying to turn the ignition key to the on position?
