my tension on my 830 is sewing where it is normal for several stitches and then bigger stitches, and sometimes it can look like the bigger basting stitch but not all the same. About a year ago I used it and it was just fine. What if the needle isn't as tight, I can't find the little tightener thing to put the needle in as tightly.
