Whirlpool washing machine, Model: AWM 321?

The machine goes through the full wash cycle, empties the water, but will not go to spin. I have checked the motor brushes and they are in good condition.

possibly a fault with the motor driver circuit board. No way to test unfortunately, replacement with a known good unit only way to check.
