my ariston margarita 2000 isnot working. washing machine?

the dial clicks round a bit then stops. the red light is on constantly and does not flash. i've took the cap off the front and a hair clasp came out but it still isn't working.

try resetting the machine, turn it to a stop position until the light flickers, try a prog and see what happens
