Hi hope you can help us. We have a Hotpoint DWF70 - the error AL 08 ppears when we try to run a full cycle, from trawling various sites we believe that this is a problem with the heating element. We can run a rinse cycle with no problems. If it is the heating element has anyone got any advice please?

You are correct it is a heater related fault, check that the thermistor (Thermostat) has not come adrift from the dispencer.
