Our Ideal standard mixer tap (about 20 yr old) is diffult to turn off completely and also leaks from centre when on. How to repair with new O rings and how to remove lever as appears no screw after taking plastic top off.

hi kevin i'm not sure i have the same shower taps as you but just check on the side for a hole where a small "grub" screw may be if there is then only undo it a couple of turns, with a screwdriver gently insert it into the gap between the handle and the main body and ease it off. do NOT try to twist it off as it may have spines to attach onto the central spindle turning it on/off. hope this helps as for the rest i'm in the same boat, sorry.
