What do I do to fix this code, I cannot record now. There is nothing in the manual that tell you how to fix this.

I had the same problem in December 2005. I carefully opened the camera and checked for and found some loose screws. I tightened the screws and reassembled the camera. No more error code!
I figured I had nothing to loose by opening and inspecting myself.
