what does an F-1 fault indicate for a Maytag CRE9600ACL electric stove ?

My Maytag Electric Stove/Oven model CRE9600ACL continously beeps and displays an F-1 fault and to date no one seems to no what the fault code indicates.
The fault typicaly occurs when the stove is not in use
Besides this continued nusance the oven appears to work properly. All wiring connections from the electric panel CB, to the range receptacle and stove power cord have been checked and verified ok
Any help would be apprieciated

well tom u need to go to the back of the oven rear of the stove and remove the approx 8 philips head screws of course unplug the unit first. inspect all the wires and conections i trust u will find the answer look for burn marks frayed wires ect. this usally occurs after the self cleaning is used on older models and the wires dry out and start to fail from the intense heat
