red light stoping on hotpoint ice diomond upright freezer?

red light stoping on green light dim,door may not have been shut properly but been shut for two days and lights still same freezer sill frozen this freezer is keept in garage

the freezer in question was not made to be kept in a garage it was ment to be at room tempt, so i am led to beleave i have had the same problem try changing the thermostat it only costs about £16 from www.fridgeshop.net
