Why does the hot water keep going cold?

I have a Worcester 280 RSF Combi boiler, the hot water keeps going cold, but the central heating is working fine. What is the cause of this & how do I get it fixed. Is there some sort of thermostat needs replacing?

ihad same problem with my 24i just put on a new thermistor on the hot water side that cured it cost 7 quid
