Both the black and coloured cartridges have ink in them but the printer is just printing blank pages (even though it seems to be making the right noises)
Some Epson cartridges had an electronic expiry date built into the cartridge, don't know if they still do?
Have you not used the printer for a long time?
If not change the cartridges with cheap ones from choice on line.
