Samsung B1245S Washing machine door handle?

I've managed to break the handle of my samsung BS1245S. Does anyone know if there is an emergency release for the door?

Yes, the same happened to mine. My husband slotted some wire down below the locking mechanism and pulled it and the door opened. If you want more info
