How can I repair my aiwa cx-na202 cd player? The unit is a 3 disc player and it is failing to recognize that there are any cd's in the tray to be played. Is this a laser issue?? Help!!

if it just keeps turning the tray. there is a thin white wire in under the tray. it goes to the sincer for the disks 1,2 and 3 and the motor to turn the tray. first try to take a q-tip and clean the sincers. if that don't work the wire may need replaced. you will see the wire when u open the tray. that"s what happend to mine

These units are famous for inhaling dust. Check if there is dust inside unit. You can try a laser cleaner but use a dry one, without chemicals. You might see an improvement. The best way is to remove the cover and clean the laser with a Q-tip and some Windex.
