selection arm starts going up and down when M/C is turned on without selecting record ?

I had this problem and it was cured by cleaning the cash bbox terminal[it was dismantled and cleaned]. You will say, "But it happens on free play" I did. Apparently, this little terminal dictates wether the carriage picks a record on freeplay or cash play. Good luck Owen
