My clock pendulum will not stay swinging. I have added weight, adjusted the clock on the wall, have wound the clock and still it will not stay swinging. I love this clock, it was a gift and I am desperate to fix it. Can anyone help?

You need to establish where the cause lies
Remember the pendulum is driven by the sping via impulses from the escapement not the other way around
Does the clock tick with regular beat ie delay between tick and tock or does it sound like a jogger with a limp?
If you feel confident to carry out some practical diagnostics ask again
