Can any one help me. I have a 1.4L astra. The heating dosent work. It just blows out cold air (its warmer outside at the mo!!) When i turn off the engine there is a hissing noise comming from the radiator. Could this be an air lock???? My other half took it to work (15 miles or so) and the temp gague was nearly at the top.

sounds like possible head gasket/thermostat/water pump.
