How do I fix my renault clio horn?

I have a 2003 Renault Clio Expression 16V 1.2. I had the horn fixed a year ago but it has started not to work properly again, sparadoiclly working but mostly not. How do I fix it without shelling out to a garage again?

I have a feeling that there is loose connection where the alternator meets the horn. it could be a case of crimping with a pair of pliers. if not then i don't know.
