I installed win xp home edition sp3 on my amilo li2727.after installation I stil have instead of "network adapters" "other devices" when I open device manager. I tryed a right click, update driver for ethernet controller but nothing.when I select to choose a secific location i cannot find a network adapter listed. what can I do?

You need to find out what network adapter you have on your machine. With this you can find and download the right driver for it - you usually will find this on the computer manufacturer's page. They may also be on the original install disks or CDs that came with your system, look under a folder called drivers.

When you get them, when asked to install from another location, point the install program to the location where you put the files and voila! Drivers installed, card working, fresh network connection!
