You can test the pilot on those by simply swapping a block conecter at the front to the one next to the stat. if its sparking but not lighting its not a pressure switch problem because your fan has to be running for it to spark so in that instance it can be a pcb fault or you ignition lead is jumping in the wrong place. if its not sparking it could be a fan pcb or pressure switch but 80 % its a fan on one of those.

I've just had the same problem. I read the manual and there is no way of starting the pilot light. I bit the bullet and called a plumber.

The Potterton Prima have an automatic pilot light the fires up when it is required. I had a problem with the fan. I've managed to get it going by turning the dail to zero, taking the front of and manually spinning the fan down, then putting the front back on and turning the dail on.

It is only a temporary fix as I will need a new fan, but it should keep for a day or two.

I know it's probably too late to help you, but it might help someone else

Because it is fan assisted it does not have a permanent pilot light. The problem will be to do with something electrical on the boiler such as fan, pressure switch or pcb.
