slip a piece of wire/thin cable around the door so that it meets the catch,then with a hand at the top and one at the bottom pull the cable/wire towards the hinged side this should pull the broken catch and disengage it ,you will then have to order a new complete door and catch assembly as they dont sell them separate but if it was the same as mine it is the catch that is broken, hope this helps
