Using the handset this is from my Freestyle 650 BT phone user book but bear in mind yours could be totally different.
This refers to a cordless phone
not a seperate answer machine.
PRESS MENU SCROLL USING THE UP-DOWN KEY
TO TAM SETTINGS
PRESS MENU
SCROLL TO OGM SETTINGS
PRESS MENU
SCROLL TO RECORD OGM
PRESS MENU
SCROLL TO ANS REC OR ANS ONLY
PRESS MENU
HOLD THE HANDSET TO YOUR EAR YOU WILL HEAR 'PLEASE SPEAK AFTER THE TONE.
TO END THE RECORDING PRESS THE HASH KEY ON THE HANDSET. THAT'S THE ONE LIKE AN H WITH TWO LINES ACROSS IT. [I added that as some people do not know what a hash key is. some think you talking hashish!, or weed!
