How can I fix my Fitness First cross trainer. ?

I bought a new Fitness First brand cross trainer and haven't used it yet. Everytime i switch the computer display on it comes on for a minute then "error 1" shows on the screen?

look at the multi plugs you may have bent one of the pins on the multi plug, multi core flex between module and tube bottom connection
