tighten the springs on a horsebox ramp?
our horsebox ramp has become very heavy to lift and i decided to tighten the springs which are under the lorry.after tightening i pulled down the ramp and heard a crack. investigation found that the 2 upright hinges had moved and were being pushed up.the crack appears to be when the spring hit a part of the ramp as the upright moved upwards
