The press button sparking ignition has suddenly stopped working for no apparent reason. There doesn't seem to be a battery or way in to get at any mechanism. It's only 6 months old.

I have turned my gas hob on and it keeps trying to ignite even though it is already lit - all the rings work, but the clicking doesnt go away. Not sure what to do, i was told to leave it for a couple of days as some moisture might have got in the ignition but i have waited a week and it still keeps clicking! Please help.
