I have taken down polystyrene tiles from the bathroom cieling,i washed it with the proper soap and wiped it off,now when it dried and i emulshioned it ,its stating to peel,how do i stop this from happening?

try using sugar soap in a 50% water mix, allow to dry overnight then paint over with pva exterior waterproof adhesive (building adhesive) again 50% with water and allow to dry same, make sure you use a bathroon and kitchen paint for your colour and allow full drying time as described on the tin, 2 coats should cover it well enough ...
