i have started to build a website that sells goods, i have images and descriptions but i am really stuck as how you can put different sizes, colours and prices to click on so that it goes into shopping cart, please help a very confused lady

depends what shopping cart etc your using. i was gonna offer a hosting service for people like yourself where they can add products, images sizes etc etc etc to a db and link to it from their site. if you have a shopping cart that your using to display image desc etc then if you look in code it might be based around a form where you could add (option) tag to list size options etc. cart needs price info to process payment, your emailed copy needs all the info on sizes colours.
a dynamic driven site would be the best as it would reload prices depending on size for example.
