just wanted to say what good advice and very clear instructions. I could smell an electrical burning smell from the washing machine just before it stopped. F-18 showed on the display when it stopped. I followed your instructions and found a 5pence piece, a ball of something odd and some limescale(even though I use anti limescale tablets). Machine is fine and working as it should now. Thank you thankyou.

this is do with the washing maschine not releasing the water in the tank in a specified time.

what to do is flip open the service flap on the bottom right of the machine. then take the black rubber hose and and remove the cap and drain it. then open the bigger screwcap anticlockwise, and remove it, beware there could be some water so have some wrags with you. next is to clean the filter and have a look inside to see if there is any obstructions, and remove them. replace everthing and it should be good.
