how can i fix my boiler-potterton performa 24?

potterton performa 24.when i want dhw the pressureimmediatly shoots up to 2bar. the boiler will not ignite at all. prior to this heating worked but when dhw was called for the boiler started banging and the pressuregauge rose erratically -any ideas please

I agree with gaz either your diverter valve or heat exchanger

my potterton powermax keeps going onto lockout every 5 mins , display is showing low pressure,even after i re-pressure the system. ??
