How can I fix my washing machine, AEG Lavamat 74639 update?

The drum doesn't turn. The belt at the back of the machine is in place. The machine seams to go through selected program but the drum doesn't turn. Any idea what could be wrong and how to fix this problem?

remove the motor and check the motor brushes.if they are less than 10mm they will need replacing
