How can I fix oven knob back on and how to replace the ignition button?

Belling 100cm Dual Range Cooker, model no;444445412
The knob has come off and I don't seem able to get it to grip when I turn it after I put it back on. The ignition button has stopped working and I don't know how to fix it. I have been quoted £130 to repair it!
