How do i fix my broken zipper?

the zipper is held by both side right, well one side of the zipper detached. so now i cant zip my pants up.

take off the clasp at the bottom of the zip that holds the zip together and take the zipper down and slide both sides back into it then instead of putting the clasp back on just sew it together.Good as new
