How do I remove the radio?

How do I remove the factory standard citroen radio?

I bought my girlfriend an in car mp3 player, and fitted it to her Rover metro, then she went and wrote it off!

Now I need to put it in her citroen Saxo 1.1i R-reg.
I can wire it up ok, and I have a spacer, but I cant get the thing out!

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

i have the same problem i need to remove my citroen radio. this is what i have found:
If there are two small circular holes at each end of the faceplate, you need to push stereo removal tools (readily available from Halfords etc.) into these holes (one on each end). This will unlock the unit from the dash, and it will pull out quite easily. Then the cables can be unplugged from the rear.
hope this helps 8-)

hi i dont know about your radio but most radios have four little gromets, when you remove them you should be able to bend a wire coathanger inserted into the four holes, squeeze tight and pull out hope it works
