topping boiler up every day or every other day to 1.2 bar, normal running pressure 2 bars, pressure dropping by 0.2-0.4 when boiler cooled down. have placed small bucket under outside over flow and have found small amount of water in it [beaker full] fault and estimated cost please. boiler 6years old.

The expansion tank is full. This needs drainng. I don't know how but I had the same problem a month ago. British gas fixed it.
