Engine cuts out at low revs when cold?
I have a Ford Escort 1.6 si (1994). No problem starting 1st time every morning but get to end of road and as soon as I start to slow for junction the revs suddenly drop to almost nothing and the engine cuts out. Takes 3 attempts to start it again. When engine is idle it judders badly and whole car shakes. Its happening every day. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing it and how to fix it?
